What makes you successful??

So it's been a crazy last few weeks for me... Mentally, Physically, Emotionally, Financially... All of the above! I've felt like I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off in everything I'm doing. I've had to stop myself several times, just in the last few days, to ask myself "what the frick am I doing???" Talk about being frustrated... So I took the day today to kinda clear some space for myself and figure out what I want to do and accomplish over the next 6 months. Which was sorta weird for me, especially since I've been doing all this work on myself over the last 18 months. You'd think I would have something I could rattle off with passion, excitement, and enthusiasm rather than having to think about what I want on the spot.

One thing I've noticed about myself is that when I don't have a goal, when I don't have something to work towards with intention, many aspects of my life seem to get messy, disorganized, and VERY stressful. My habits tend to change, my level of happiness goes down the drain, and I don't want to be around anyone. Which is naturally FAR from who I am at my core. I'm a naturally happy guy! I absolutely LOVE to be around people! And I'm consistently doing the things that support my growth and success.

So here's the question... What do you consistently do when you're seeing success? When you're in the groove? When you're having a great time in this game called life? I have noticed a few things about myself when I'm in a resourceful state and feeling good about life. Here they are! Are there any similarities with your success habits?
  • I am getting plenty of exercise with the intention of being in good health. (Not just taking the stairs instead of the elevator)
  • I'm feeding my mind and spirit by reading and listening to my life mentors everyday. (T Harv Eker, Keith Cunningham, Mark Victor Hansen, Cheryl Ables, etc...)
  • I am surrounding myself with like minds, successful people, and friends that push me to be more and do better in life.
  • I avoid all the negative nancy's in my life like the plague! (Negative people and energy is infectious... Why allow myself to be pulled down by a bunch of crabs???)
These are the biggest things I've noticed about myself when I'm really doing well and feeling good about life. I could tell you EXACTLY what I was not doing on that list EACH and EVERY time I'm feeling down. The hard part is kicking myself into action when I notice it. Because, lets be honest... Sometimes you just WANT to be in a shitty mood! What I don't understand about that is WWHHHHYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It makes no sense!

So over the last week I've been taking action on this list. Sometimes it's easy to just do everything on this list, and sometimes it's not easy. But the biggest part of all this is actually doing it, in spite of how I feel or how inconvenient I think it is in that point in time. But ya know? Sometimes you just gotta suck it up and do it already!

I thought I had more for ya, but I guess I don't! Oh well, I'm sure when the time comes I'll have it on here for you to enjoy! =0)
